About You – Tell us a bit about your company or organization and what you do.
VICTIG Screening Solutions offers an intuitive and streamlined solution to pre-employment background screening. Primarily marketing to B2B companies, VICTIG has provided quality screening for over 15 years. We’re a relatively small company of about 40 employees.
The Problem – Can you describe for us the problem you were trying to solve that led you to our software?
We were trying to figure out how to display live data to our sales team. Other solutions weren’t as customizable as the Powerpoint interface was, but we didn’t have a way to auto-update without manually leaving the slide and updating it until we discovered PresentationPoint.
Finding Us – How did you find PresentationPoint?
We found PresentationPoint through online research. It was like finding an oasis in a desert. Not only does PresentationPoint do a fantastic job, but they seem to be the only ones providing this solution.
·Software Solution – Which of our software did you use to develop your solution?
DataPoint was the solution we needed.
Your Solution – Can you tell us how you solved the problem while using our software? What did our software let you do that you couldn’t before?Â
Our issue was that the data was being updated in our CRM, but we had no way of exporting that into a dashboard without just using the dashboard solution they provided (which was ugly and not something we’d want to display on our sales floor). We actually use a CRM that isn’t widely integrated, so we weren’t able to directly pull the information from our CRM to PowerPoint. Instead, we used python to code a script that constantly pulls the relevant data out of our CRM and into a .txt file. PresentationPoint then references the .txt file and displays that data to our sales team on an ongoing basis. We run the powerpoint slide for weeks at a time and PresentationPoint doesn’t fail.
Results – What are the results now that you have your system up and running?
See photos. The result is a TV display that our sales team can reference that auto-updates and clearly indicates where we are with our sales goals for the quarter. Our sales team is more motivated and informed which is conducive to a productive and healthy sales floor.

To reiterate my previous comment: If we didn’t find DataPoint, we simply wouldn’t have found a solution, or we would’ve sunk thousands of dollars into programming a custom solution that perhaps wouldn’t have done the job as well as PresentationPoint. We’re huge fans.
