1.Introduction
ShowPoint is a great tool to start and control presentations automatically. You can let a computer boot and start ShowPoint automatically. ShowPoint will start the presentation from the folder or network share that you selected. While running the slide show, it will continuously watch the subscribed folder for presentation updates and restart the slide show when needed.
In case you want to have more control or scheduling capabilities, then consider using iPoint.

3.Launch ShowPoint
Launch ShowPoint from the start menu.
4.Presentation folder
In the Folder to watch option, click Browse button.
Browse to the folder that contains the PowerPoint presentations for this computer or display. Select the folder and click OK.
5.Working folder
The default folder for the working folder is fine. You can move it to another folder if you want. The working folder will be use to temporarily copy the selected presentation for playback.
6.Scan options
It the scan options section, you can choose to select and run the last created or the last modified presentation. ShowPoint will check this option with the file’s creation or last modification time. Most users will prefer the last modified option.
7.Restart presentation options
While a slide show is running via ShowPoint, ShowPoint will check if the base presentation was modified. In case that the running presentation was modified at the source, then it will restart the slide show based on the information of the updated presentation. Do you want to start the new slide show immediately after each next slide event, or do you prefer to wait to start with the new presentation until the last slide show?
Choose the first option to get the new presentation faster on your television or computer screen.
8.Autostart ShowPoint
Check this Auto start option if you want the ShowPoint to start automatically. Don’t forget to use our AutoLogon tool to log on automatically without logging in manually with your username and password.
9.PowerPoint options
Choose whether you want to use the full Microsoft PowerPoint application or the free Microsoft PowerPoint viewer to run your slide show. One of both, or both, need to be installed.
10.ShowPoint controls
Click OK to close this settings form. You can always reopen the settings form by clicking the hour glass icon.
ShowPoint will now watch the selected presentation folder and use the last created or last modified presentation from the folder. It will run the presentation as a continuous slide show on your screen.
Use function key F10 to end your slide show.
In the event that you have terminated the slide show, then use the broadcast icon to start the slide show again.
Click the X icon to exit ShowPoint.
